Setting: Haunted Woods

One moment you're in your own time, your own world, your own heaven or hell. The road you're driving on guides you here, or perhaps you woke up with your back against a tree. You might have meant to come here, but the likelihood is there was no intention; between one breath and the next everything changes. You run out of road, and fog clings to the dense, skeletal trees. The gloomy dusk seems to stretch on forever, neverending. Maybe you can hear something chasing you.
